thank you all so much for your support. Al is finally stable enough for his second round of surgery which will be later this afternoon. it will take between 6 and 8 hours. it will include more brain surgery to remove bone fragments and check for tears in the sack that surrounds the brain, reconstruction of the face and sinuses, and we just found out yesterday that his knee cap is shattered so that will be repaired also.
