I rarely come over to the community board but have wondered off and on for years how the posts are counted for each member. It seems like I post a lot but my counter hardly moves. I used to think that a post is only counted when you start a new thread. If it's actually the amount of posts, not new threads, then my counter hasn't been counting properly for a LONG time. I hate to ask, maybe I don't want to know how much I actually do post lol! I don't "log in" but it always says "Welcome, Rhonna" in the upper R box so I must be logged on.

You can't post unless you're logged in so if you can post you're definitely logged in. :) Post counts tally for each post you make, so if I needed 10 more posts I could in theory post 10 more times on this thread and get those 10 posts. It doesn't matter if you've started the thread or posted on it previously, each post counts as new post count. Does that make sense? So like this~

Yes. This! Thanks, Kerri!:thumbsup2

I will add that sometimes, if you have posted in a thread which gets deleted for some reason, your post count will drop because it will be as if the posts in the deleted thread never existed. But that probably doesn't happen too often, I'd imagine.
