If I have a stay already booked and wanted to drop the last day, can this be done or would I have to cancel and rebook?

Easily done. Just double or tripple check with the MS agent that they are dropping a single day off of your reservation and keeping the rest in tact. Most MS agents are well trained, but I've heard of a rare issue here or there with new folk & you don't want to be that mistake they learn off of.

Thanks for the quick response. I thought that was the case, but wanted to check. We are going on Spring Break again. I'm pushing for the extra day at WDW, but we might need the day to recover when we get back. We are booked through Sunday, but might decide to come back on Saturday. We did that this year and it worked out pretty well. Decision will probably be influenced by flight availability when it comes time to purchase that.

Time to live like a DVC owner and ~relax~ which is what vacations are meant for ... you'll be back, no need to kill yourselves.
