Modifying Reservations?

I have a room only reservation for January 2-9, 2014. I am considering adding tickets before the trip with all this stuff about FP+, etc. In the past, I have always just gotten my tickets there. So, if I add the tickets, will they just add them (turning it into a package) or will I have to cancel the room only and then rebook a package?

The room only will have to be cancelled/refunded and the package booked, requiring a new $200 deposit (or payment in full if this is done 45 days or less prior to arrival). Room only and packages are different reservation systems, so money paid toward one cannot be applied to the other.

If it's just tickets you want. Buy from Undercover tourist or direct from Disney website and use will call number to link your tickets to res.
