modifying a reservation

Question about modifying a reservation. I'm booking a stay at the 7month window for a small group of us. We are hoping to stay 6 nights, but may have to shorten to 5 nights and won't know that until after the booking window opens. If I book the 6 nights on points and then need to cancel the first night - am I able to drop just that one night, or do I have to cancel the whole reservation and rebook the stay?

You can just drop the one night. Open the reservation and be sure to click Modify, then simply follow the prompts to book the actual nights you want.
