Modify a Reservation

This is the first time we've booked a cruise without a TA so it shows the ability to "modify" our reservation. What exactly does it allow you modify?

Dinner seatings, room selection, number of guests, cruise date (I believe this can be done there), insurance, anything you can select between at least two different offerings when making the reservation.

Where is the modify now? I have the new website and can't see it. Do you only get it once you pay in full? I just wanted to check if any rooms have opened up on deck 12 for our short 3 day cruise.

I don't think you can see available rooms using the modify option. And the new website doesn't have the option (that the old site had) of putting a room number to see if it's available. But, I think the "modify" option is on the first page where you see your cruise details.

Thanks. You use to be able to check out what rooms were available. They didn't release your room back until you either changed or chose cancel. I did it once a week on the cruise where I ended up getting engaged. We had a terrible room originally and I finally was able to get us moved to a better set. I'm not super picky this time just thought I'd see if I could get us closer to the concierge lounge since this will probably be our only concierge cruise ever and I don't plan on leaving the lounge or room often haha.
