Modified cancellation policy

I booked a reservation for May. The agent on the phone said I can cancel up until the day of check in without penalty. I can’t find that in writing anywhere. Is this the policy in effect right now?

Right now, they are waiving holding but we have no idea when it will end, and DVC can end it at any time,

So, I would assume the 31 day rule applies.
