Trip was good, but now i remember why I don't like going to Disney in the summer...too hot!!! I'm originally from Buffalo NY but have lived in the Raleigh NC area for the last 13 years, but I much prefer my trips over the cooler holiday periods of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter even though the crowds can be heavy. I do have to say that the summer driving down I95 was a much more pleasant experience than on the weekend after Easter week! It also helps that one of my children is now a licensed driver and can help with the driving!
Pop was great! We had room 2361 on the 3rd floor facing the pool in building 2 (Jukebox building) of the 50's section at the very end where we could see the lake from outside the room. If you went right around the corner from the room you could see Epcot fireworks. I'd say it was a great location as you were close enough to the pool, but far enough away from the noise and with a nice view. Every early morning there was a duck family swimming in the empty bowling pin pool. Was quite a sight! We've been to Disney a gazillion times but tried House of Blues for the first time and Rose and Crown Pub. Both were great!
The fridge was great for keeping milk for breakfast and if you put bottled water near the freezer section it will partially freeze by morning. took a small soft sided cooler to the parks to carry a few bottles of water each day.
Enjoy your trip!!
