Just checking in, live from Pop!! We just met with anewmac (Andrea) this morning to pick up the fridge. It is currently in our room, and is running great! We already have it stocked with drinks to beat the summer heat.

On a side note, it was wonderful to meet another Dis'er- anewmac has a beautiful family, and they passed along some pool toys, glow sticks and a toaster for us as well! That was an unexpected surprise- we hope to pass along the magic to another family to enjoy when we leave.

Just wanted to let you all know that the fridge is alive and well, and will be passed on to mermaid2sea on Thursday!

Well we just got home... its a happy sad moment. cant wait to sleep in my own bed but so no looking forward to work tmrw LOL.

when we picked up the fridge it was found in no time thanks to the previous DIS'er prior to us... labeled it great for the Pop to find.

We met Lisa (Jakesmom) and her family is adorable also. I didnt think about a pic until we were on the bus to to Typhoon Lagoon. darn it.. hope you have a great stay Lisa!

Thanks for the welcome back- we arrived home tonight, since we drove the long drive back to Pennsylvania.

Well, I called mermaid2sea yesterday morning to meet for the swap, and they had decided that they didn't want the fridge anymore, so she gave me the info for the next person....I hope it was the right info anyway, because she said she was in 2 different swaps, and wasn't sure which was which at the moment. So, I labeled the fridge for her and took it to bell services. I put the toaster that anewmac had gotten inside the fridge as well. I didn't really know what I was doing with dropping it off, as I had expected to be meeting mermaid2sea to swap in person, and after just reading now, I realize that I should have gotten a ticket- I am so sorry! I didn't have my computer to check on what to do. I so hope I didn't screw it up for everyone!

I am praying for lots of pixie dust that all is well with our swap- I plan to use it again next June on our trip!

Im really kind of annoyed, because I knew she was in two swaps and she promised me she needed two fridges due to the timing in the dates and she couldnt get either for her entire trip. I really hope this fridge isnt lost.

This is why I ask folks to reconfirm with me constantly. uggghhhh

to you for working so hard to keep this swap going. The least she could have done was take the fridge and put it in luggage services herself since she had the info, instead of leaving Firstimetodiz in a difficult situation.

No, as far as I know, we were down to the fridge only, but anewmac just bought a 2 slice toaster, which I put inside the fridge for the next swapper.

Someone else could donate it. The toaster I took was only $7 nothing to break the bank but it worked out great to heat bagels and left over desserts LOL Just held it over the opening carefully.

I took my own single cup coffee maker but that came home with me. But I know Walgreens, CVS Rite aid etc.. all have them.. heres a link to one..

$10 Coffee maker 4cups

Ive seen at target for $7 a 14cup but thats way to big IMO...

Thanks for the pix of the fridge and toaster !1I was glad to see a gallon of milk would fit !! I haveto get my GGorder in this weekend for the 12th and this really helped !!
I tried to get a receipt from LS in May and they said they didn't give them !! So don't feel bad about no receipt !! You did awesome in sorting out the mess !!!

Gina I too am in 2 swaps but I promise I ill take care o both !! I've done these before an had to sort out lost stuff from others screw ups !

Whew ! Thank you so much, I feel so much better, and dont worry about not getting a receipt, I dont think they give them anymore. Thank you for handling the issue for us, Im sorry about mermaid2sea, that is one reason I ask to confirm and reconfirm, I know Im a nuisance, but its for that very reason.

Thank you so much for the toaster, that was very sweet of you, and Im glad to see the fridge is in good shape also. Thank you for posting the pictures. I will be at DW in a couple of weeks, and I will check again for the coffee pot. Keep hoping its going to show up.
