I will be staying in November and I'm kind of nervous about this swap. I hope I do it right!!! The Disboards are very challenging to learn so I'm really enjoying myself but there are a few things I still need to figure out! Like who is "Bawb"? What does "Bump" mean? Do I actually have to meet the swapper before me in person to get the fridge? I'm just still a little wet behind the ears so bear with me.
I'll try to check in more now that summer camping has gone by. Love you all! Kellie

Hey, we were all new at one time! Here's what I know! Bawb was a disser who passed away this summer. A bump moves your thread to the top of the first page so it has a better chance of being seen. If you can coordinate swapping in person, it is better so we can avoid luggage service. It is up to you to coordinate that with the people you're swapping with, before and after. If you can't, make up a paper with the next swappers name, reservation number and dates to label the fridge and bag. Fran will give this info to you or you contact the next person to get it. I did this before I left for vacation on my computer.

Well, it was looking a bit crazy a few days ago, but we're finally feeling excited about our trip (leaving Tues!!). IKE needs to stay away, and hopefully the paths won't change BACK to a Florida hit.

Although, it's hard to be excited for us and vacation, when that means that someone else somewhere is going to have a heck of a time (thinking CUBA) with their HOME .

Everything is set between me and those after me. I'll be in contact with Bonnie when we arrive (it will be a face to face). I'm so totally NOT bringing my laptop, so I'll check back in when we return

WE're back. BOO HOO...having Disney withdrawls already!

More about the trip later, but it was wonderful, of course.

The fridge was awesome (didn't use the toaster or coffee pot). The swap went smoothly from Bonnie to me, and we left everything with luggage services for pick up tomorrow. I've given those after me the luggage claim number and DH said the luggage guys were SUPER about the entire thing. Hopefully that will be the same when it's picked back up tomorrow!

The trip was a wet one since that was the week that Topical Storm Fay spent 5 days in Florida... so we pretty much got rained on every day... that said we had tons of fun. We did things we hadn't done, like see the Lion King show in Animal Kingdom... It was a pity it rained so much, but we still had a wonderful time since we were all together... it just added to the adventure.
