I think we might be getting too many sub-divisions. THe codes board took away some of the anticipation I've always experienced waiting for the codes to come out, and I've heard others say that they missed the code because they weren't used to the codes board. I just don't open the posts I don't want to read.
A hurricane bulletin board--I don't think that is on par with saving money. Codes apply most exclusively to resorts--but the hurricanes--end up on ALL boards and apply to residents, those cruising, those visiting, those evacuating--it applies to so many different aspects.
And it isn't going to matter where these storms are or what the path is--as soon as one brews up it will be on Resorts,
DCL, and community board---if not the other boards.
I'm all for its own board all together. Probably anyplace but the "Just for fun" section

unless there are surfers wanting to know how good the waves are

.
(I live across the street from the beach--so smack my hand if you must--they are usually excited about the waves--but on Frances---nobody was excited for her at all--it was very eery to hear about the surfers being worried as well).
However--in regards to
travel insurance and intinerary changes--not sure its own board will help the DCL board very much. Just my opinion due to the nature of their holiday and cancellations.
I think it would give consideration to all curious, to all impacted, and to the experts who've been there, done that before and can offer helpful tips and advice.
