Hi! My husband's company asked him to go down to Orlando a day earlier than we have our Disney trip planned to help out with an IT issues at their Orlando store. While my husband is working that day my 7 year old daughter and I will have a pool day. Based on the amount per night the company allots for expenses and availability (this is next week) we are looking at any of the value resorts, any of the disney springs resorts, Swan, Dolphin, Port Orleans FQ, Port Orleans Riverside, or Caribbean Beach. I have never been to any of these resorts.

Which one has the most fun pool for a 7 year old girl?

Thanks!

CSR has the best slide, we like the PO pools for their design, and CBR for zero entry and castle theme. I would pick one of the PO resorts, so after spending time at the pool you can hop on a boat to Disney Springs:)

I was going to suggest POFQ as well. I think a 7-year-old will like the dragon slide, and the boat to DS is fun. Plus - beignets!

Swan and dolphin has a slide and the grotto pool. Plus a new more advanced playground than at the Disney moderates. They have paddle boat rides that are fun and a sand area with a sea lion that sprays water. Our daughter loved it.

I agree their pool is amazing. But aren’t they more comparable to Deluxes?

The only mod pools I've been to are POR and POFQ. Out of those, I would choose POFQ. I'll be at CBR in a week and a half. I love the look of their pool and that it has zero entry. (The only mod with zero entry, I believe.)

Oh I forgot about the boat to DS! That’s a perk for sure because we plan to have dinner there that night. Thanks!!

I apparently need to look at their website again. I totally missed this!

Price wise they are currently more in line with the moderates. Maybe because we are booking last minute for next week?

If they are definitely go with Swan or Dolphin over the moderates, better rooms and better location. Assuming you don’t need MDE and don’t want a dinning plan at least.

Are you planning on doing Epcot/HS? If so--I would check out the Swan or Dolphin. If you are just looking for a nice pool area at an official Disney Hotel, I would go with POR or POFQ. POR is a bigger resort and you could end up with a bit of walking. POFQ is a much smaller resort with its own bus that has one stop. POR's bus will make four stops around the resort before/after going to and from the parks. POR/POFQ does have bonus points for the boat to and from DS. I have a 6.5 year old son---he loves the slide at POR. If you stay at either of the Port Orleans Hotels you can use both of the pools.

I stayed at the Dolphin for a dental meeting and it had the most comfortable bed I have ever been in. I LOVE everything Disney and had to make myself get out of that bed.

French Quarter and Caribbean beach have the nice water play areas that dump and squirt water. My daughter loved them.
Also, go to YouTube and look up the pools, I’ll bet there is video of all of them so you can see for yourself
