What is your favorite moderate resort and why??

POR - wonderful landscaping; serenity at the end of a busy day; river views; boat rides to DTD; horse drawn carriage rides.....I could go on and on

I like them all for different reasons, but for me I think I'd have to go with Coronado Springs. I love the space, the theme, and the Dig Site (is that the name of the pool?)!!

It's been years since I've been to CBR but I loved Old Port Royale and the tropical colors throughout the resort.

And, of course the beignets and the Sassagoula boat ride at POFQ.

CSR is our favorite Mod. We love the theme of the resort, as it's so different from where we live in Florida (POR and CBR look like home and not vacation-y at all to us). We like the Pepper Market, the pool is awesome - especially the slide! There's a nice playground with swings and slides and climbers. The quiet pools are nice and convenient. We've had the best bus transportation there. The rooms have a nice upscale feeling to them, the beds are super comfortable and the sliding door between the sleeping area and vanity area is wonderful for being able to get ready in private while the kids are still sleeping.

POR. I love the lush greenery around the resort. It feels tranquil, truly a place where you can get away from all the hussle of the parks. I also think POR has the best food court of any Disney resort, and I also love the gift shop. It is huge!

+1 on this. Beautifully maintained resort. Had our honeymoon there 15+ years ago there, just went back last December. Great both times...

I don't really care for mods but if I had to choose it would be POR. Not too large, very pretty, boat access, peaceful
