Moderate Resort?

Hi! I just got back from my first trip to WDW. I am already planning my next trip.Is it really worth the price diffirence to go from value to moderate?I stayed at ASSP. A little loud at night but was fine.Are the moderate rooms much bigger? I am working on a budget.I am looking into getting an AP to help save. Is it worth it?I am going back 02/06.

I found the AP discount was not worth the price of the AP for my 7 night stay at a moderate. However when I upgraded to a deluxe, the savings were well worth it.

For us, we like the moderates much more then the value resorts. The rooms are a bit bigger. The theming to us is much nicer. I like the option of a sit down resturant in my resort.

If you are happy with a value, and working on a strict budget, stay at the value. But if you can splurge on a moderate, go for it!

I think the moderates are worth it-especially with all the different discounts you can find.
We stayed at All star sports back in 1998 and though we enjoyed our stay very much and had no problems with the resort, when we stayed at CBR in 2000, we were amazed at how wonderful this resort was. The overall feeling of the moderates versus the values is of a more relaxing vacation vibe..
CSR is our favorite and we have stayed there the last 2 trips-it is very quiet and relaxing...the grounds are beautiful, the food court and restaurant are great, and you cant beat the themed pool. We found the rooms at moderates to be comfortable and relaxing. Worth every penny imho.

For me it depends on who I'm traveling with. If it's just me and the DGDs, the value resorts are fine. The themeing is great, the food court has their kind of food and there's lots of kids around! However, if it's me and DH, we prefer a moderate for the little extras and a nice sit down restaurant.

Thanks for all the info! I'm leaning toward value-maybe pop century or ASMV.I don't even think my DH is going.
