I voted for CBR. It will give you a nice tropical feel before you leave on your cruise!

I probably should of put down that we have stayed at CBR once the year it open. And PO-RS (then dxl landing) 4 times. Never been to FQ or CSR.

I haven't stayed at PO-FQ because I like to hang out at a quiet pool since I don't have any children. But have heard some great things about PO-FQ.

Of the remaining 3, I like POR because of the landscape, biscuits and gravy, and boat to DD. But would stay in any of the moderates anytime.

Have fun

My vote is for PORS - excellent service - would stay there again!!::yes:: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Can December get here any sooner!!:hyper: :hyper:

CSR is an awesome resort as are the other moderates. It all depends on your tastes. If you would like a southwest/Mexican themed resort, check out my CSR website for pics, links and info.

I voted CSR !

POR would be my second choice.

I voted CSR as well. I like to try a new resort each trip and since you've been to CBR and POR, it would be the most different. Plus, the grounds are beautiful, the pool is great, and the bus service is very efficient.

We just returned from POFQ yesterday and loved it. We love CBR too but everything at POFQ - the food court, bus stop (we were in building 4) and the pool - were about a 2 minute walk. Real nice. The biegnets were really good, too.

I just booked a ressie at PORS today!!! I stayed there when it was Dixie Landings back in the day, last Dec. we stayed there for hubby's b-day (Dec. 3rd) & a "pre-holiday" get-a-way, and today I just booked PORS for hubby's b-day & "pre-holiday"stay again! Seems like a tradition we have started with our family!

One thing to keep in mind when booking your resort...PORS & POFQ both have boat access to Downtown Disney and West Side. This is excellent to have access to instead of just the buses. They tend to have alot of stops & get crowed, and driving....have you ever tried to park at Downtown Disney, especailly at night??? NIGHTMARE!

Have fun on your cruise!

I went on the Wonder back in 2000, LOVED IT!

We loved CSR! We thought POFQ was just OK. We haven't tried the other 2 yet.

I love POR, have stayed there many times starting when it was Dixie Landings. I've styed at all of the moderates except POFQ, and POR is definately the favorite, However, that said, I did like all of them!:D

We have stayed at POR (1999), CSR (2000) and POFQ (2003) and have enjoyed all of them for different reasons. We really enjoyed the theme of POR and the music they play around the resort. If you walk around the Alligator Bayou very early in the morning, there are recorded sounds of roosters crowing, bullfrogs croaking, etc. I was singing CCR's "Born on the Bayou" the whole time we were there. We enjoy Boatwright's, also. When we stayed at CSR we were in the Ranchos section. We also enjoyed the theme there but our favorite part was the food court. It is set up like a market place and the food was very good. Our favorite, though, is probably POFQ. It is small, intimate, nicely themed and the spa is secluded and away from the pool so it is quiet. Perfect for a middle-aged couple with no kids along. The buses are shared with POR but stop first at POFQ for pick-up and drop-off. The only drawback is that is doesn't have a sit down restaurant but it is only a 10 minute walk up to Boatwright's. We also enjoy the boat to DTD at the PO resorts. CSR has a bus to the Boardwalk (at least it did in 2000) which is also nice.
We are also debating where to stay if we manage to get back this coming February. For some reason, we don't have an interest in CBR so we will be choosing among POR, POFQ and CSR. I think POFQ has the edge right now but it changes from week to week! And, if you stay at on of the PO resorts, don't miss Pianoman Bob performing in the lounge at POR. He's hilarious! And, don't rule out the AKL. You can usually get a pretty good discount for that one, sometimes as low as $120/night and they usually give comp upgrades during off seasons. We stayed there in 2002 and really enjoyed it.
Have fun choosing.

We love CSR. It has nearly all the amenities of WL, but a lower price tag. It is the only moderate we have stayed at, tho - so I am going on limited experience. It did hold up favorably after we had spent the previous part of our vacation at Poly Concierge, tho - I was prepared to be disappointed, but instead was amazed.
Check out Buzz's site, it's fantastic.
