moderate h/a rooms with 2 beds

Last yr. we stayed at pofq and we had a h/a room for my son... the bathtub had rails.. but what needed a roll/in shower.. and the room had 2 beds instead of the king.. does any other moderate resort offer a h/a room with 2 beds?? we want to try a new resort next summer..

I think the H/A rooms with the roll-in shower have to have a King because of size. The rooms with two doubles have the tub with grab bars.

Although it's not a moderate, we ended up in a handicap room during one of our trips at Old Key West. And it had two queen beds. It had no tub, but a roll in shower. The room was on the first floor of building 20.

wow i was looking for the same thing. i think my SIL asked a similar question for me. but i now have made my reservation and im certain we wll be happy with what ever we get. (as long as im inside,and can get to things,and have a fridge for my sons meds.)

make sure you make your reservations for the handicapped room through special requests or somthing like that... when you call for your reservation they should connect you to them.. i cant think of the name but they will connect you and you will make the ressie with them.

I know for sure since I've stayed in one, that POR has rooms with two double beds and roll in shower. We were in the building closest to the food court in the Alligator Bayou section- very convenient!---Kathy
