Moderate and Value Resorts end of Sept/1'st week in Oct

How crowded are the moderate and value resorts the end of Sept or first week in Oct? Who has been there then and which resort? Also what about the crowd's in the parks and the weather?I know that you really never can tell,but I'd like to hear from who ever has been there during this time frame.Also which resort and why?No children going this trip,only either 2 or 4 adults.Thanks.

Hi, we were there that exact same time last year (Sept 27-Oct 6) We had great weather (sunny, high 80's-mid 90's) and it rained two five minute times. The crowds were pretty light (most waits 10 min) except for Saturdays at the MK (it was very crowded). The crowds overall seemed to pick up the last couple days we were there. We stayed at POR and it was wonderful. Beautiful resort, nice pools/food court. The bus system overall was good. We are going back this year 09/26-10/05 and staying at POR again. We also went in 2000 (9/20-9/26) and had great weather and low crowds. I really think all of September (with the exception of Labor day) is low crowds. It is very hot/humid but not unbearable.
