Model Trains outside of Germany in EPCOT

Does anyone know why the model trains outside of Germany weren't running? We checked twice last week and only the single caboose on the top hill was running once. The other time nothing was running. Does the weather affect them? Also, the lights in the town weren't turned on.

Who knows? But the weather certainly effects that display. The trains in operation and the lights turned on are not done on a rigid schedule. They are on when they are on, and off when they aren't.

Ate lunch at Germany this past Monday. They were all operating then before the rains hit.
