We might have an extra person next year on our vacation. (Not under 3) We love CBR but they only allow 4 to a room. Are all of the other mods just 4 also? I looked online at WDW.com and it lists them all as 4 max. Didn't there used to be a mod that would allow for 5? POR I think.

Also, If you had 5 and had to choose between one room at CR or a 2 rooms at a Value, which would you choose? (DH really doesn't like the Values)

Thanks for your input.

I think POR only allows 5 in one if under the age of three-there is a trundle bed. I think you might be rather crowded though. The CR can sleep five very comfortably, or two rooms at a value ot one of the new suites at ASM?

Under 3 is not applicable at POR in regards to 5 people. They have rooms for 5 in the Alligator Bayou section as there are rooms with a trundle bed. I have this booked for a few days at Christmas before we move to the Polynesian.

We have 5 in our family and have stayed there for the last 3 years. If everyone in your family is 3 or over, you'll get a room with a trundle in Alligator Bayou, though I have heard of people who were put in a room without one and they were given a roll away free of charge.:)

We just got back from POR, and we had 5 in a room: DH, Dear GodMother, DS10, DD7, and me. So, three adults, two kids (both over age 3) in one room. Obviously we used the trundle bed! I don't think the trundle bed would be very comfortable for anyone taller than about 5'2". However, you could always bring an air mattress and use it instead of the trundle bed. You could even use the sheets from the trundle bed for the air mattress. The sheets were for the regular double-size beds and just double-folded to fit the trundle.

This arrangement worked okay for us. Yes, space was tight but managable, especially since we used a large laundry bag and had the hanging shoe bag for toiletries. Three folks showered at night, the other two in the morning.

We really enjoyed POR. It was QUIET, the grounds were lush and beautiful, and we had no issues with the buses.
