mobile version not working

For the last week every time I try to go on DIS boards on my phone, it immediately skips to some ad, and then to the app store for a game. I tried deleting it and putting it back on- no luck. Anyone else having the same issue, or any advice?

Are you using the old app? That is not valid any more. Since the DISboards migrated to new software in February, access is through your mobile browser.

nope- I've been using the correct one ever since they switched. This used to happen just once in awhile, but not I can't even get on the boards at all on my phone- just on my laptop. But I open my internet- search DIS boards, and then even just trying to open it over the internet it jumps to the ad, and then the app store- barely even glimpse the DIS page for 1/2 a second

Why are you searching for Disboards, why not just bookmark the correct address (www.disboards.com for the main page, or I use www.disboards.com/watched/threads/all to take me straight to my watched threads).

HA! Mostly because that's WAY beyond my technical ability. (don't laugh at me please) But I brought my phone into Verizon yesterday, and after playing with it for about 20 minutes, the amazing tech person there got it to work for me! YAY!! Can't say enough about how awesome they are here when I need help
