I have a tri-band mobile phone with Vodafone and am hoping I'll be able to use it to text my DM to reassure her that we are all still alive etc. every day or so!
However, I want to leave it switched off in the villa during the day, and not cart it round the parks. Does anyone have any experience in using a mobile phone in and around the Indian Creek area (behind Splendid China)? What is the reception like? Any other tips?? I've worked out that I need to get all calls to divert to voice mail so that I don't have to pay for those annoying wrong numbers and marketing calls.
My DM's phone is not tri-band, but seeing as she won't be leaving the country, this won't matter, will it?
Thanks
