The XDA Exec is the phone of choice at the moment, but obviously its a bit pricey.

For a bargain, The XDA IIi from O2 using the student link that gets it for £24.99 (plus 12 months of a £19pm contract) is a very good price. Its the phone I have and its wonderful. I can take a call on it, send a text message, and do anything a phone can do, then I can nip on excel and work on a spreadsheet, then type a letter on pocket-word, print it on my shared printer using the phones wifi connection. Then I can fire up tomtom 5 navigator and find a route to somewhere and use my bluetooth gps with that. I can watch tv programs or films on it using the divx player with the phone turned on its side for widescreen, then listen to some MP3's. In short its the best phone ive ever had, it does everything - although the camera is, like all phone cameras, no substitute for a real camera - although the video clip recording is credible.
