Mobile ordering pmt ?

We don't eat a lot of QS, but in May we were at Satuli Canteen. Line was long so I thought I'd give mobile ordering a shot. When I got to the pmt part it only had a place for a credit card.

We pay oop, don't do a dining plan and I have all of our spending money prepaid on Disney GCs.

Is there no option to charge to the room or put in a gift card #?

Not currently- options are only cc or DDP.

Well dang! I was afraid of that, but hoping I had just missed something or they had added a feature since earlier this year.

I had contacted WDW customer service about this very question. The response was that they are working on adding gift card and "hope to have that added soon" we'll see what actually happens

When we returned from our trip at the end of June, I received a few surveys via email and one was about quick service dining. One question was if I used mobile ordering and when I selected no, it asked why and I responded because of the inability to use a gift card or charge to magicband. I’m really hoping they’ll keep getting feedback that people want other payment methods and these will soon be options. Fingers crossed.
