Mobile ordering and gift cards?

Hi all-- I'm leaving for WDW on Thursday, and I'm hoping to take advantage of mobile ordering for the first time. I'm on the MDE app "practicing" ordering, and I see that it says they only take credit cards currently, not dining plans. Would Disney gift cards (like the ones you buy at Target) fall under the heading of credit card, or are they a no-go for the app? Thanks!

It's credit and debit card only as of now.

You could use the gift cards at places where you can't order online and use a credit card to order online. If the lines are long, online ordering is a great option unless you have food allergies or on the dining plan.
