We have 6 people who are over age 21 in our family group of 12. If we use mobile ordering and the six order alcoholic beverages with our meal order, do all 6 just go to the pick up window to show their ID? We have the quick service dining plan..does anything work differently using the dining plan? (We actually will be doing 2 separate orders for 6 pp each because we read there is a limit of $150 per order using the mobile ordering. )Thanks.

You may need to send three people up. The usual rule (per signs posted everywhere alcohol is sold) is 2 alcoholic beverages per person with ID at one time. I'm not sure they'll bother, though. Nobody asked for ID when I mobile ordered with alcohol at ABC Commissary.

Officially one ID holder can pick up two alcoholic drinks at a time. So three ID holders could pick up the six drinks.

Unofficially, I was only asked for ID at mobil order about 50% of the time and no one was paying that much attention to the drink count. Probably because I was picking up full meals at the time.

So be prepared, but don't be surprised if no one cares.

Our son and daughter have been asked for their ID every time.
How old are your son and daughter? I was carded regularly until my late twenties and maybe even into my early 30's (I was young looking) and not just at Walt Disney World

I thought there was regulation enacted in the last decade requiring people to be carded if they looked younger than 35, but can not find any confirmation. All I can find is recommendations to card people if they look younger than 30 or 35.

BTW: at Universal, if you want to buy two drinks, the other person that you are buying a drink for has to be within eyesight of the bartender/kiosk person.

Is a photo of your passport on your phone still acceptable as I won't want to walk around with my actual passport all day?

Along with another form of ID, yes. I had my passport on me my whole trip without issues, though, too. Just because it's always in my purse, I don't actually use it in Disney. I'm American and use my license for ID.

That's a shame as I don't have any other form of ID. I just assumed as I was non American they would understand that visitors don't want to walk around with their passport. I'll leave it I think and just order soft drinks.
Thanks for the help x

Unfortunately for non-Americans the choices are a photograph or photocopy of your passport AND an out of country and valid ID (like a driver's licence) OR your physical passport as per Florida law.

The kids are on the younger side: they will be 25,24,23,22. DH and I are 49. We will just plan to have the 4 of them come with us, show id and get the food while the other 6 find tables. Thank you.
