Mobile ordering and a cup of water?

I noticed in the mobile ordering that there's no place to ask for a cup of water, or even a cup of ice. Although maybe there is now, but there wasn't in October when we used it. And all 3 times that we used mobile ordering, when we picked up our meal, the server just slid it to us, then "Next." In other words, things happened so fast, that they don't really give you much time to ask, and besides, I felt guilty asking them to take the time. It seems that one big plus of mobile ordering is that the food is all ready, bam-bam, and off you go! But recently I heard that there may be cups of water all set to go. Has anyone recently asked for a cup of water to be added when they pick up their food?

Every time we go we've noticed they have cups of water prepared and ready to grab. We go several times a year and almost never in the hot weather months so they should be doing this all year. I wouldnt worry at all. If they aren't preparing and enough people ask they should do it to make their own lives easier.

Never feel guilty about making a reasonable request.
I've never mobile ordered so can't speak on that level.

Each time I have done mobile ordering I have asked for ice water when I picked up my food, no issues at all.

We mobile ordered at Satuli Canteen twice & I just asked for a cup so we could go to the drink dispenser area to get our own ice for the bottled waters we brought with us they, kindly, handed me four cups and also an extra side of dressing that I requested with no problem.

The one thing I noticed, which I didn’t love about mobile ordering, was that many QS restaurants did not allow you to modify the menu items very much, if at all. I know you can do certain things like substitute side items for different sides and many of those options did not seem available as an option with mobile ordering. Hopefully, some of those options to modify items will increase as mobile ordering improves

Yes, as others have said, they have cups ready to go. Don't be shy asking, they will happily give you a cup with water!
