Can you use this to make dining ressies before your trip?

This is a good question. I'm actually not sure but perhaps people who have used this app more than I have could weigh in.

I also don't know, but I've used Disney's mobile site with success: http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/reservations/dining/m/.

I have Mobile Magic on my droid and yes you can make dining reservations from your phone. I do think it will be easier to just do it on your computer but using your phone would be great in the park if you wanted a last minute ADR or wanted to see what might be available.

Yes you can make reservations.
When you open the app...choose WDW.
Then select a park.
Down at the bottom you will see some selections. Choose dining. Select Make a Reservation
Then you can do a search for the dining venue you want, and the time you are searching. It will come up with results. And you can make your reservation.

This thread made me look at the app for the first time since I downloaded it a while back.

These tools are pretty good, though the menu sections could use a little work.

Side note: I did a few test searches to see what a dining nightmare it would be if I tried to get a table for my party of 6 for tonight and there were a surprising number of tables available all over the world.

So much so I've decided to just skip ADRs for my trip in a few weeks and just wing it.
