Mobile/Cell phones?

Hi

Visiting Orlando in May as part of a family of 10. Naturally, we plan to split up and do our own thing while in Orlando at time, but we're investigating ways of keeping in touch while we are out there?
I understand using our uk mobile is going to be costly, does anyone have any advise?
I see I can pick up cheap pay and go mobiles from walmart which seems a decent option.

We bought 3 of the LG400 NET 10s from eBay before we went. They were sent from the states, and even after postage it was cheaper than buying when we got there.
They also come with 300 free minutes for talking or texting.
We got them all charged up before we went then just followed the included instructions for activating them when we arrived.
They really proved their worth for the 3 weeks we were there as we were constantly splitting up in the parks, and we would definitely do the same again in the future.

You can get prepaid sim cards. Make sure your provider unlocks your phone for international travel.
