So I have a cruise booked our first Disney cruise for Dec of next year (2018). My kids have no idea, I'm gonna surprise them with it for their bday next May. Moana themed because I feel it fits the theme and the big reveal of the trip in Dec. my kids and I are OBSESSED with Moana... anyone know if they will be offering Moana themed gifts to order for the stateroom? Right now I know they have dory, frozen and star wars... Thanks!

Maybe, if DCL does another Hawaii cruise?

I wish they would, really they have overexploited Frozen to the point that many are sick of it, but yet Moana has so few things out there and really was a great film that should have won best animated film, but since it didn't, maybe Disney thinks it won't sell as well as Frozen and Zootopia.

I agree! I mean frozen good, and my daughter was obsessed for a bit, but we are all over it now and Moana is the big thing in our house! My son LOVES Maui! He is 4 and runs around the house with a plastic hook that you would use to hang a rod in a closet and he yells all kinds of Maui sayings lol. I felt so bad that I finally cracked and bought a Maui hook off line. Expensive but the look on his when he gets it will be well worth it My daughter who is 7 loves Moana and sings all her songs... seems everyone I talk to thinks Moana was a great movie and has become their new favorite princess. I have even recently ordered the Moana checks and checkbook cover lol. Disney needs to give it shot! My kids would be so stoked to see Moana gifts in their stateroom for the cruise. The stuff is so hard to find I don't even think that I would be able to buy stuff to put in the room for them. The few things I have found are not really great for a 7yr old. I got a couple towels and some stuff I'm gonna use for a cake topper... but picking are slim... bottom line is they need to put it out there more and I think people will bite.

I agree that Moana was great. There were a lot of Moana talks on this year's EBTA, but I do not remember if in room gifts were offered. There was merchandise.

I've looked at the in room gifts offered on Disney cruise and there is only frozen, dory, and star wars... I'm a little disappointed. You would think since it's a cruise line they would offer some stuff to do with the ocean... hence Moana, heck even the little mermaid. The few items I have found at Disney store online are not that fabulous. I bought some figurines to have for bday cake decorations... they had some towels that were on sale so I ordered those. The stuff you can find on eBay or Amazon are super expensive. I wrote the cruise line and hope they take into consideration. Maybe if more people email them they will take it seriously?

Well, I will join you. I will send an email, asking for some.

That's awesome! Thanks! dcl.guest.communications@disneycruise.com This is where I sent email. I'm thinking I may get a generic response so I have the emails of the higher up too... not sure if it will do any good but it's always worth a shot right?
