Mo-gee-toes

I was having dinner tonight at Mama Melrose and at the table next to me someone actually said "can I get a no-gee-toe" that is the no alcoholic equivalent mojito. Had to laugh and thought of Bob, funny how a man I never met comes to mind. Really miss Bob on the show!!

I know what you mean. Dh and I were fortunate to meet Bawb once, but I felt like he was a brother or a lifetime friend. DH and I have discusses this multiple times and I think I've always felt as if I've 'known' the team because they are themselves on the podcast...always have been. I know I always felt as if I was right there sitting at the table with them and as strange as it seems, I've always felt as if I know them (at least a little). With Bawb's passing I felt as if I had lost a close relative, something I couldn't really discuss with anyone other than DH (he actually understood).

Every so often I have to go back and listen to early podcasts with Bawb in them. He was a special person in many ways and I'm so glad that people still talk about him and remember him....he had an impact!

That's a hoot! Before I clicked on this thread, I had a sudden thought that someone actually believed that was how they were to be pronounced and that Bob's lingo has transferred to some unsuspecting guests. LOL
