Yes, it goes on throughout October on select nights. You should be able to find a schedule on the stickey thread. It is a special admission ticket, not covered by park admission. It starts at 7:00-12:00, although there has been a lot of talk that they will let you in at 4:00. So that would be a very full day of fun. At 7:00, they usher out the regular admission people (how do they do it?) and then it is just those with special tickets. And the number of tickets is limited (to what, I don't know), so even if it is a sell-out, you still (I have read here) should only have a maximum waiting period for rides of no more than 20 minutes. Most of the rides are open. Lots of candy stations for the kiddies and not so young, you will go home with enough candy to make your entire family sick for a week. The decorations are great, the parade (with Headless Horseman leading on horseback) is great, you get a family portrait included. I wish we could have gone this year, escpecially since we are now only 5 hours away, but after going to the Nickhotel in September and our planned trip in December (all long weekends), DH aka "Grumpy Spouse" put his foot down and said ENOUGH!!! So I will have to figure something out so we can do all three next year.......I am so devious when it comes to WDW trips....
I hope you can go, you would really enjoy it.
