??MNSSHP on the 31st?? Has anybody ever been on Halloween night? Is it a bad idea, is it really crowded? The 31st is on Monday this year and the only other day we could go would be either the 28th (Friday) or 30th (Sunday)? Which do you think would be the best day? :confused3 :confused3

I went to the 31st in 2003. Halloween night is a sell out every year. It is crowded--- but you'll get mixed reports on that. It really depends on what you find to be crowded. It is a really great event and I'd go Halloween if it meant that or not going at all. In all honesty I think all the days you listed have a good chance of selling out this year.

I've never been to MNSSHP on Halloween night, but I did go last year on October 10th (the Friday of Columbus Day weekend) and it was the only other night, besides the 31st, to be sold out.

Yes it was crowded, but it was tons of fun. Everything was well organized (photo areas, candy stations, rides, story telling etc). I didn't think that it was any more crowded then on a summer day (but i go every year in July, so I'm use to crowds).

Me and my family loved it so much we are going back this year as well!!!

Does anyone know when tickets go on sale for MNSSHP--or are they already on sale?

No they are not on sale yet. They went on sale May 1 last year so hopefully it will be soon.

I've gone Halloween night twice now. It is very crowded on the streets but we got everything accomplished we wanted to. Trick or treating, photo, parade and fireworks. Depending on where you are in the park it may seem very crowded or not that bad. It's a matter of perspective. The trick or treat lines sometimes appear long BUT they go VERY fast. We staked out a spot for the first parade last year by Country Bear Jamboree about 45 minutes early (there was NO ONE around us for awhile) and my kids went to see Country Bear and rode Alladin while I sat in our spot and relaxed. The spots didn't fill up till about 1/2 to 15 minutes before. Not bad at all. At the beginning of the night Adventureland and Frontierland were dead. It got more crowded by the time the first parade started.

Maybe if you care more about rides then the atmosphere and festivities you'd be better off going another night but we LOVE being at MK on Halloween night.
