I know I'm putting the cart before the horse but due to ADRs coming open in a few weeks, I'm starting to lay down a semi plan for what park and days. Thanks alot Disney.

Assuming there will be a MNSSHP on Fri Sept 15th, the day we arrive (around 1pm), would you think it better to go that Fri which would work perfectly with our arrival time, or do a HP on that Sun Sept 17th or Tues Sept 19th with the hope of lower party crowds? Tues would be ideal for us since we don't fly out next day until early afternoon, but it would waste Friday and Tues for parks. We like having down days but more staggered to rest between park days.

I know this is all theoretical since there's no idea what the party schedule will look like this year, but I will need a basic idea before schedule release for ADRs so wanting opinions to start organizing different scenarios.

There is no way I would buy tickets for arrival day. How mad are you going to be if you're delayed, miss the party, and you're out the cost of the tickets?

I've done NSS on arrival day but we were also going to another party that week, and I would never want to risk missing the party or even part of it due to delays.

I would do the party on the Tuesday, it's a weekday and they're usually less crowded. Friday for the parks find whichever one is open the latest or has EMH and go there. Tuesday can be your part MK day (obviously you'd have to attend another evening at the park for wishes/dep) since crowds are super light party days and you'll get mostly everything done.

I think you have your dates wrong. Friday would be September 16th. We arrive that day also.

I have done party day after arrival day and it was insane trying that. Last year I remember people booking in septermber expecting party dates that did not occur.
