We are going on a 5 day Disneycruise in mid October of this year. My hubby LOVES the cruise but (gasp) does not like Disneyland!! We have never been to Disneyworld (we always go to Disneyland) so I talked him into at least doing MNSSHP. Its better than nothing!! So where do you recommend staying that is near Disneyworld? We will stay there for 2 nights and since we can't get in before 4:00 I wanted a fun hotel where we could hang out at the pool or even do a character lunch?

Disney's Yacht or Beach Club Resorts. They give you access to Storm-a-long Bay. Easily the best pool in Disney World. Cape May offers a character meal.

I would highly suggest staying on property even for the extra money... If you can afford it since your just going to be at mk I would stay at the contemporary or grand Floridian if not then the Epcot resorts like some mentioned because there is a lot to do otherwise even the value resorts are good just for a day but I would just enjoy staying on property and using Disney transportation.. have so much fun at the party though!! It's my favorite
