We've never done this and would like some input from anyone who has attended. Holloween will be our last full day at WDW and I thought it might be a fun way to end our trip. I should add that we have done MVMCP and found it to be way too crowded and since I'm only 5 feet tall I found it hard to see the parade. Will we run into the same problem? What do they charge?

Thanks.

We went in 99 and absolutely loved it!! They had fortune tellers and candy treats for the kids - of all sizes!! A lot of people dressed in costume and really got into the spirit. The parade was fantastic. We went to MVMCP and had a great time as well but for some reason I think I liked the MNSSHP just a little bit better. Maybe b/c the night time themes better with Halloween and you can't beat going to HM in the spirit. Not sure of the cost but I think it is just a smidgen cheaper!

We were there this past October 31st for the first time and will probably do it again.

They change the lighting and sound effects so that the entire Magic Kingdom takes on the atmosphere of the Haunted Mansion. My wife especially like the ride of the headless horseman before the parade.

This is popular with the cast Members, too. We had two extra tickets due to my SIL & BIL backing out, so we gave them to a CM at the Poly and she was very happy to get them.

We went in 2000, and had a fantastic time. The decorations were great. Most kids, as well as many adults, were in costumes. There were 5 of us- 4 Adults and a 6 year old, and we all loved it. We would definately go again!

We went on Nov. 1, 2001 and LOVED it :) I went with my boyfriend and my parents and the four of us had a great time, even though we're adults and were travelling without children. We even participated in the trick-or-treating (which was open to everyone, so it's not like you feel like you're cheating kids out of candy if you play too, lol)
We did all the major rides, none of which had any wait at all. There was no one there it seemed, and being in the park late at night is a cool perspective.

About the MVMCP, it's too bad it was so crowded when you went. My bf and I went this past December and again, there was no one there it seemed. In fact, we just sat on the rides and rode them 2 or 3 times without even getting off!

I would definitely suggest MNSSHP though, it was a blast!
