Hi i would like as much information and personal experience of this event as possible please. i have read general information but i need peoples experiences to help us decide what to do MNSSHP or a big Character meal .

we are 2 adults ,1 ten year old boy and 1 sixyear old girl and this is our 5th time to florida but first in October.

Thank you xx

Not sure if we have done 4 or 5 MNSSHP's now. Plus 2 over in Disneyland CA. Also done 2 Pirates and Princess parties at MK.
All brilliant, I prefer to dress up as I believe it addds to the experience, the cast members interact with you a lot more.
Its a different parade & firework show, both very good. Lots of candy. Pick the right night and rides can be walk on, midweek and early in the month are better. Weekends and nearer you get to 31st the busier.
You can enter anytime after 4pm even though the ticket says 7pm. One year we got in just after 4pm and they were looking for people to go on the parade, we were on the ominibus, fantastic experience.

Can you believe after 20+ trips we have never done a character meal(apart from Mickeys back yard BBQ, 16 years ago) Going to rectify that though in August, free DDP so we have a few planned.
So can't advise which is best to do but we love the party nights.

I agree with Wayne although if your budget stretches I would try to add on 1 character meal that way you'll have no regrets. It took us 4 years to rectify ours.

We actually went to 2 MNSSHP nights (a week apart) in our 3 week holiday in September/October as I was sure that if it rained on one night it might be clear on the other and then it wouldn't have been a waste. This is exactly what happened so we had a great first night and a bad second but we did come home with 4KG of sweets :rolleyes1

We were all dressed as hippies (2 adults, 10 year old and an 8 year old) and we had a huge amount of interaction from the cast members.

I highly recommend it, also did MVMCP but much prefer MNSSHP :thumbsup2

we loved this the fireworks are the best we have seen and the parade is really good

we got to have a pic taken with snow white and all 7 dwarfs which i have never seen all together before

we got two bags full of sweets it was great and we will be going agin this year

We have done a few MNSSHP and always had a great time. Try to stay late if you can, even if it means you need to have a lie-in or a nap before or after. The park really gets quiet but with the music and lights it is a great atmosphere. Also they give sweets out to the kids (of all ages) by the handfull towards the end of the night as they do not reuse them on future parties. Don't miss the headless horseman at the start of the parade and make sure you get a good view of the castle for the firewworks as it is so well lit up. As for character meals I would do the party first but if you have the ability to do both, we have done the castle a couple of times (hard to book, need to be on the phone early on the 90th day but you can use the 10 day rule to your advantage here) we also did Chef Mickeys (very good), 1900 Park Fayre (also very good) and I think it was Cape May (Ok but not as good as the others) I would choose based on what characters the kids like.

mnsshp is brilliant probably the best time ive had in disney ever. :goodvibes You get to see so many rare characters and they are all dressed up. The parade and fireworks are brilliant and as said we did the first party last year on the 5th September and every ride was walk on and we still had plenty time to do meet and greets and get lots of candy. Brilliant. Character meals are also great but id personally say MNSSHP.

Thanks for your replies think will probably go to MNSSHP sounds fun.

Have done CP character meal before but we would like to try a different one this time. Have just walked in to CP before now and got a reservation for about an hour later even in the middle of july.
