If you had 2 girls (5 & 7) and were going to be at DW Oct 27 - Nov 5, which night would you do MNSSHP? Why?

I guess I'm really wondering whether to do this on Halloween or a day or 2 before. Any (real) difference in crowds? Is going on Halloween worth it if the crowds make a difference in character meets and the other special party stuff?

Thanks in advance for the help.

We went on a Thursday night in early Oct. The lines were great! (It was Columbus Day weekend so the crowds the rest of the weekend were terrible all over WDW). I've heard Halloween night is really busy. Part of the fun for us was getting to ride a ton of rides without waiting.

I went to MNSSHP on Halloween last year, and MVMCP on a "not so crowded" day. In all honestly, I didn't feel any difference in crowds. Both had jammed mobs in some spots, and virtually nobody in others.

I guess it's always better to choose a less-crowded day if possible, but I wouldn't make a big effort to avoid Halloween.

We went on a thursday. It was so much fun. It was busy in spots and no crowds in others. We got tons of candy and the fireworks were the best ever!!!! pixiedust:

Hi, we went halloween night 2004 and on a sunday and thursday last year. All of the parties were excellent but Halloween night was definetly more crowded. I would go on the Thursday if making a choice for this year. mnsshp is one of my dd5 and dd7's favorite things at disney!! I'm sure you'll have a Fantastic time whatever you choose!!

They sold out all the parties Halloween weekend, last year, so I can't imagine the crowds would be any different.

We were there the night before Halloween, kind of by accident, and we were able to ride almost every single attraction in the Magic Kingdom between 2 p.m. and midnight.

Did Fri Oct 28th this year and I didn't think the crowds were bad at all Did most ofd the rides all shows and fireworks .ALL the T & T centers .

Now we usally go mostly in June so Crowds to us might be mobs to others.

Thanks, everyone.

I'm now leaning toward the day before Halloween (Monday this year) to avoid the weekend and Halloween crowds. Looking forward to a great time.

Oooh. I went to MNSSHP for the first time in October, and I had so.much.fun!

Monday night sounds like a good plan. :)

I think we will try for the Thursday night during our visit since that is the only weeknight one scheduled.

When will tickets go on sale? Do you buy them online or by calling Disney?

Thanks!

When is Columbus Day 2007?
