MNSSHP without kids

My partner and I are both annual pass holders who go to Disney regularly. We don't have any kids. And we have never been to Mickey's Not so Scary Halloween Party. Do you all think it's worth doing, even without kids? Any advice is appreciated!

I went with DD, who was 17 at the time. We had a ball. We trick or treated, we met Jack Sparrow, we watched the Parade, we did a couple of rides, we ate at Casey's on the way out. It was absolutely worth it. (Oh, and we dressed up, too.)

Went with DH 2 years ago and had a great time. Dressed up and everything and loved our bags of candy afterwards. THe parade and fireworks are worth the price of the party ticket alone IMHO. Good to do it at least once

I haven't been to MNSSHP, but I have been to MVMCP. If you like fireworks and parades, I think it is worth it because you get special fireworks and parade.

My group of friends has 0 kids and we love going to MNSSHP (aged from late 20s to early 40s)! The lines are typically shorter for rides, the shows, fireworks, and parade are a lot of fun too. There is a ghost sitting outside of the Haunted Mansion talking, cracking jokes, and making fun of people. Plus... FREE CANDY!

You also get to see some really well done costumes.

I agree that the parade and fireworks alone are worth the party ticket. They are the BEST!! I've been to MNSSHP a number of times but usually with the kids (we have 4). This year it will be just DH and me! We are going for F&W but love the party so much we are going! This is also the first year the Sanderson sisters will be there and I can't wait to see them!

My husband and I don't have kids yet and we go to the Halloween party 1-2 times each year. It is so much fun! I don't know what would make you think it wouldn't be.

I've been doing MNSSHP since 2011, always without kids. Highly recommended!

We are headed there without our twin 13 year olds this year. Long weekend away for us, Food and Wine opening weekend and the party! Can't wait

DH and I went last year and had a blast!! 10/10 would recommend it!

DW and I like to go in late September (next trip in 19 days!), and we always work in MNSSHP. The parade and special fireworks alone are worth it, but we also enjoy the candy, the costumes, and the lower crowds, as the parties in September tend to not be completely booked.

If you're a fan of Disney Halloween (ala Haunted Mansion, Hocus Pocus, etc) DO IT! I think as an adult you can really appreciate it and enjoy all the work Disney puts in to making the park feel special during the parties.

I don't know what would make you think it wouldn't be.

The attraction for alot of people is the unique character meet and greets offered at the party and alot of people believe that without kids, they don't want to do the meet & greets. We don't do many meet & greets during the party, but our little one does enjoy the dance parties. That being said, we enjoyed them probably more before she was born (or at least we thought it was more "worth it".

I've gone solo quite a few times. And I dress up in costume and trick or treat during the party too. Yup - adults can have as much fun as kids at MNSSHP.

And I do the meet and greets. This year I'm thinking of dressing as the Evil Queen and meeting the Seven Dwarfs. Plus I'm hoping the Old Hag will be out and about since when I went last year it rained nearly the whole time and she wasn't around at the party I went to - even at the Villians Dance Party that several people saw her at during later parties.

I'm looking forward to MNSSHP as a solo adult again!

I went a few years ago and honestly I would love to go again. When I went it was a huge family trip and I wish I had done more. I was still dressed for a nice dinner and had to rush to the party w/out changing to meet my sister and her boys at the party.

I went with my kids the last 2 years and can't wait to go without them, lol
They just can't hang late
