Hello! We're headed to WDW in October and will be attending the MNSSHP on one of the nights. We have someone with food allergies in our party, who wants to trick or treat. Does anyone have experience in trick or treating with severe food allergies? Is it pretty allergy friendly?

So there are 2 ways it may go. In previous years you took the same candy and then took the candy to guest relations and traded it in for a non food item or for allergy friend candies. Last year they made the system better. At each candy stop those with allergies could get a teal token instead of candy. You then took the token to the allergy exchange location and for each token you could either get a allergy safe food item or a non-food item of your choice.

yep disney is one of the best places to be with food allergies I would look closer to the date you are going in case they change what they do but they will have something in place so that every one can tricker treat and have fun.

Check out the Disney Food Allergy Group on FB, great place for information on traveling to Disney with Food Allergies!

Thanks everyone for all the wonderful advice! It makes me feel better that she won't be missing out on all the Halloween fun! :)

Last year they even had little craft kits you could trade for the kind you get at michaels to make little halloween things.
