MNSSHP...which date?

During our trip MNSSHP is going to be on 2 days Thurs Oct 6 and Fri Oct 7, I am thinking that Thurs will be less crowded How are the crowd levels for this early in Oct? This will be our first MNSSHP and kids first trip to WDW Do I need to order my tickets now or can I wait for a couple of more weeks?

Well you can go to the "who's going in October" thread, click on MommyBoo's post at the bottom of all her posts she has a clickable link that has a huge list of all of us Dis'ers that's posted on that thread where we're staying, when we are going, and when we are going to MNSSHP... it seems like the majority of Dis'ers are heading to MNSSHP on the 6th... maybe because we know its Columbus Day weekend, so we're avoiding Friday?? I am anyway... and I was thinking if it was loads of fun, maybe we could buy tickets there for Friday too!!

not sure about ordering... I've read some Friday's sell out, but they dont post how many tickets go on sale...

Seems like there are alot of people going that week. Halloween night sells out, but just to be safe you may want to get your tickets now. I would also think the Thursday would be the better of the 2 dates. Anyone who is local would go on the weekends when the kids don't need to get up in the morning for school. Crowds in October generally are managable. Other DIS members should have more info for you if I didn't answer all your questions.
