MNSSHP--When does it start?

I'm starting to put a *very* sketchy plan together for next year and am thinking about going to the Halloween party. We plan on going at the end of September, but I'm hoping I can maybe catch the first party. Does it start on Oct. 1st usually?

October 2004 Dates:
October 1, 3, 8, 12, 14, 17, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 29 (SOLD OUT), and 31, 2004 (31st SOLD OUT, 8/19/04)

With the frenzy this year, if you are going on ANY Friday, or any time in the last week, buy as absolutely early as possible. Many people made bank on eBay selling sets of 4 tickets to popular dates for a THOUSAND bucks, and I have a feeling there will be many people next year who buy them for the sole purpose of reselling.

Avoid disapointment - get the tickets as early as you can afford/have an idea of the correct dates. They number dates above won't really help as the calendar changes each year; you can expect MNSSHP's to be each Friday, Sunday, and Tuesday in October. I've been on all three nights - obviously Tuesday is the least busy, though Sunday wasn't all that bad.

We did the Oct 1st one this past year (our 2nd time doing MNSSHP). We had arrived in late September, so for us it was a middle to end of trip event.
