MNSSHP: What to do between 4:00 and 6:00?

We have MNSSHP tickets for Fri., 10/28, which will probably be a crowded night. I know we'll be in Frontierland from 6:00 to 7:00. How can we make the best use of the time between 4:00 and 6:00?

Get something to eat? Try and see if there are any shorter lines for rides as people might start clearing out around 5.. Over in Tomorrowland when we did MNSSHP, they had a DJ, the kids were dancing and playing with hula hoops. Some of the rides were open over there...

wait.. you said Frontierland.. did they move the place where everyone goes before the party??

We did a character dinner at Crystal Palace before our MNSSHP 2 years ago. We slowly browsed up main street, looking in the stores before finally getting to Crystal Palace. Then by the time we were done, it was time to head over to Tomorrowland.

When we went to MNSSHP 9/30, we were sent over to Adventureland before the party officially started. We rode the rides there (w/no lines) and ate dinner before the party started at Peco Bill's.

We are going on the 27th and plan to get there at 4. We've got ADRs at Cinderella's Royal Table for 4:45. We'll try to fit what we can into the little time we have before our ADRs and after we eat before we get sent to Adventureland. Don't think we will have time for much, but we figure as long as we get something to eat before the party starts, we'll be good for the rest of the night.

The two times we've attended MNSSHP, we've found you can ride almost everything in Fantasyland between 4:00 and 6:00. The crowds were VERY light during that time. Most regular guests were leaving.

We chose Fantasyland because it was a good fit for our kids at those times and there are a lot of "slow loaders" in Fantasyland which we got onto quickly during that time.

Got to MK right at 4, & it rained (quite a common occurance last week) so we browsed some shops, spent $$ at the one in Toontown, got our girls in line for the Princess Meet & Greet, only needed Snow Whites auto, but it was a must, my 4 yr old loves her! After that we got out & did Philharmagic/TeaCups before they were shooing us out & over to Tomorrowland, side note **If you plan to eat before MNSSHP, get there before 6) we went into Cosmic Rays because it was pouring again, but they closed down from 6-7, just like the rest of MK, not sure if anywhere in Tomorrowland is open for snacks/food, but then we had to sit & wait till 7 to eat, which wasted some precious Party time (IMO) however, the Cosmic Dance Party with Stich started at 7 or 7:30 & my kids LOVED IT!! So it worked out for us! I think you should try to get to Cosmic Rays/Pecos Bills wherever if eating CS & order by 5:45, so you get your food, have time to relax, rest up for a great night at MNSSHP!

We went to Tom Sawyer's island. It's closed during the party. We also got fastpasses and rode Splash Mountain and Big Thunder, hit Pirates and Aladdin. They started handling out candy earlier than 7:00 in Adventureland and we hit all the trick or treat stops. When the party started we spent all of our time in Fantasyland, Toontown and Tomorrowland.

We did the party on thurs the 6th, entered about 4:30 with our party tickets. Rode all of the fantasyland rides no wait as well as HM and the teacups. Then we were directed to adventureland at 5ish so we ate at pecos bills. About 6:30 we rode splash and btmr and finished just as the party was starting. Trick or treated our way back toward tomorrowland and by then everything was in full swing. We loved the hallowishes and watched the 2nd parade.
