There are 4 of us- me 40, DH 39, DD 9, and DS 8. We are seasoned WDW goers. We are all very able bodied and don't mind being on the go the whole time. We want to ride rides and soak up some atmosphere. A priority is The Seven Dwarves Mine Train as it's the only attraction left in New Fantasyland we have yet to try. We are attending the hard ticket party ONLY- will not be visiting any other parks on any other days. We plan on arriving at 4 PM and hoping we are allowed in. If not we will ride the monorail for a loop and try again ;), if not then, we'll have a drink at the Contemporary or Poly and try again- lol

Arrive 4 PM
-Country Bear Jamboree
-Tiki Room (believe it or not, we have NEVER been on these two- ever- in 4 trips)
-Pirates
-Thunder Mountain
-Trick or Treat Trail- Frontierland
-Haunted Mansion
-Small World
-Peter Pan
-Philharmagic
-Dumbo
-Tea Party
-Space Mountain
-Buzz
-Hallowishes
-Trick or Treat Trail- Tomorrowland
-Parade 10:30 PM
-Splash Mountain
-Seven Dwarves Mine Train

We have no interest in character meet and greets at all, nor in the dance parties. There are a few things we can really let slide (don't HAVE to do) if need be for sake of time-- namely Peter Pan and the Mad Tea Party. We figure we might as well do Country bears and Tiki when we first get there as the Park will still be open to non party ticket holders and we don't want to have to compete on a bunch of popular attractions with FP+ users. We also have no interest in the Belle attraction- we've been there and done that and don't feel the need for a repeat, and will ride Voyage of the Little Mermaid only if the line is short.

Interested to know how long (approx) the Trick or Treat Trails take- I have allotted 30 mins for each... not sure if that's enough time, and if we will be able to squeeze it in between Hallowishes and the Parade- lol... there's a good possiblility we will NOT, but instead do it BEFORE Hallowishes and stay put for the parade and eat a snack or something while we wait.

What do you think? Are we crazy- haha!!!

Candy trails only take that long if it's super crowded, from what I remember. And they don't start until 7 so you could probably get in a couple more rides other than CB, tiki room, Pirates and big thunder before the party starts.

Ride bigger rides, space and PP during the first parade. This is also a good time for candy trails since most people are watching the first parade.

It all seems really doable, especially since you aren't doing characters, shows, etc

Also, I'm pretty sure that you can book FP from 4-7 as well now (someone correct me if wrong) so you can even get some of the bigger rides (7DMT, Space, etc) done then.

Just be prepared for a LONG wait at HM. Everyone wants to do it during the party, to see all the extra stuff (woman in the garden, magic shots by the hearse, etc) so I would try riding before the party starts or right at the beginning

I think if you watch the second parade and ride during the first it will help you out a lot :thumbsup2

It all sounds doable to me. And you will be allowed in at 4pm, no problem. I would definitely go to second parade and ride during the first. We always do just rides and fireworks, so I know where you're coming from. We were there last September and the trick or treat trails took about 15-20 mins each. We ended up doing them multiple times, especially the one behind Dumbo. Seemed like know one knew about that one!

We arrived at 4pm and we wanted to start in adventure land but that place was wall to wall people. We headed to tomorrow land wg
his was almost empty
You will find that after the second parade there is a mass exit. Many people leave.

did you mention which night your doing party. I've never done the party before but if you go on a night that the party is sold out this seams like it would be hard
