MNSSHP ticket question

If we want to get tickets for MNSSHP with the DVC discount do we have to go through member services? I was going to try and wait to get the tickets a little closer to the time we're going to check the weather. Is it possible to get them also at WDW with the DVC discount. TIA.

Last year I was able to buy the Christmas Party tickets online and it gave me the dvc discount (only went on a night that didn't offer the discount )

I would say you can always call MS when you're down there to order....if they are not sold out for that night....which is always the risk. I have no idea how often those sell out...but I do know the Christmas parties in early december usually sell out a day or two in advance. I haven't seen an option to purchase the halloween party online...but whether online or through MS if you are there you can always pick them up at guest services after you purchase.

Yeah I just checked...If you go to main disneyworld site, and click parks and tickets there is a link for special event tickets. Click that and enter your MDE info. You will have the option to select DVC discount and purchase them.

I waited until I was there last year. Called MS the day before the party and ordered the tickets that I picked up at MK will call.

Thank you all so much for the information. It's the last party in Sept and the first in Oct. I hope it doesn't get sold out but I don't want to risk what happened last time we went. It poured and we only ended up getting there at like 10. It was a waste of money.
