MNSSHP Ticket issue

I don't know where to put this, but this section looks good..

I purchased 4 MNSSHP tickets (2 for 10/16 and 2 for 10/17) over the phone because the website kept declining my credit card. I got the tickets yesterday from FedEx. The dates on the tickets - the printed form and the pastic tickets - are correct.

However, I went to link the tickets through MDE to my account and the 16th is fine, but the tickets for the 17th show up as 10/18 on MDE. There is no party on 10/18. I did not complete the link on MDE.

Anyone else have an issue like this? I will call customer service later tonight, but I am just curious if this is more than just my tickets.

I've heard several places here on the boards that you shouldn't link hard ticket events/party tickets to MDE Something about problems then with the regular daily tickets not really sure as I never linked party tickets

Is there a reason you want to do this ? I can't see any benefit as there is no FP + during parties Can you just " unlink" the ones you already did and not link any ?

I did it because I thought if we should lose the hard ticket, our magic band will still have the ticket on it. Also, I never completed the linking process because of the bad date, so nothing is linked at the moment.

The CM on the phone made sure to tell me that if using the band I *HAD* to make sure I used the proper entrance otherwise it would use one of the days on my regular tickets.. which isn't a problem as we have park hoppers for the whole trip. People who are just going to the party and saving a regular day are the ones who are probably reporting issues with the regular tickets.

Got it piece of advice though, carry the actual ticket with you whether you manage to get it on the MB or not Any system can go down at any time & you don't want to stand there with no proof There's another thread going on right now about MB & DDPs screwups I experienced that myself once

I planned on taking the tickets with me. I just wanted the re-assurance. Anything can happen in 156 days

If you are worried about forgetting/losing/misplacing the tickets you can take a photo of the backs as well.

F.Y.I. I talked with Ticket Services and the tickets were fine. They passed me on to IT Customer Service and it was a display problem.

I didn't even notice that the date was actually Oct 18, 2012! They said link the tickets, which I did while on the phone with the CM, and they will fix the display problem.
