we have a family reunion vacation come up in the middle of Oct. the only day we will be at WDW is attending MNSSHP, probably on a Tue. I have never been to any of those hard tickets event, I have a few questions about the party. I appreciate any suggestions and input.

1) is there a one day only memorymaker deal I can purchase for the event only? If not, what is the price point of the special effect pictures if we decide to purchase one or two?

2) other family members are planning to go to Chef Mickey on the party day. Is it possible that we leave our cars there and walk to the park? Or we have to drive to the TTC and park there. If we choose to take a Uber, how hard to get a ride if we leave the park at the end of the party, I assume there will be lots of people leave at the same time.

3) to those who has little kids, mine will be 5 and 3, what is your priorities? My older one mentioned she wants to meet Jack and sally. after some research, I totally understand it is impossible to do it all, so after we see the parade and fireworks, what else can/ should we do besides trick or treat on the way out to the park?

Thank you so much!

I can answer #2...
You can park at CR for your brunch, then you're supposed to get back into your vehicle and move it over. HOWEVER, on our last trip, we told them we wanted to watch the Fireworks from the Cali Grill observation deck.
The valet just told is to go ahead and keep our car there. I'm sure that's not usually the case. If you do ask, ask nicely and perhaps they will not make you move your car. Don't count on this occuring, but it did for us. (Major pixie dust!)
As far as Uber, if you want one for after the FWs, have them pick you up at CR. Much easier!
Hope this helps!

ETA: Or, you could valet park, (for a fee, obviously), and then legally leave your car at Valet parking. It is not that much more than parking at CR (or any other resort) for a 24 hour period).

I'd recommend checking out the MNSSHP link in Theme Parks. Tons of information and can help you with a plan.

1. Yes, I have read there is a 1 day Memory Maker. Not sure the pricing.
2. You can valet park the car and leave for the day. If you self-park, I think the time limit is 2 hours.
