MNSSHP Questions

We're going to be at Vero Beach, FL for a few days in October and are toying with the idea of driving to WDW to attend the MNSSHP on one night of our trip. We've never done this before, however we did do the Christmas Party a few years ago. This would be the only night we'd go to the parks - since this is a beach vacation! It seems like I remember from the Christmas party that we arrived much earlier than the time of the actual party and were admited earlier than the scheduled time. Does this happen at the Halloween party as well? I'm trying to decide if it's going to be worth it to buy the tickets and take time away from our beach vacation (plus the four hours of driving time to get there). Perhaps if we could have a couple of extra hours - it would tip the scales to the worth it side!

You should be able to enter the MK at around 4 pm with your MNSSHP tickets, which would give you three additional hours. We did this last year, and even with the rain we had, it was totally worth it!! We were happy this year when it worked out that we could go again for the first night of the party. The parade is fantastic, and the fireworks are phenomenal!! Go for it!

Is there some place where the rides that are opened are listed? I've checked the Disney Website and didn't see them listed. Is is about the same as Extra Magic Hours - or are more opened?

We were there last year and every ride seemed to be open, maybe the only rides that were closed were some of the shows that was about it.
