MNSSHP questions -- rides, time to get there?

I did a quickie search for MNSSHP info, but there were a few questions I still wondered about:

1) Which rides will be open during MNSSHP, and will they be opened all the way until midnight, or do they close earlier?

2) Can you enter the MK at anytime between 7-12PM with your party ticket, or should we plan to be there right at 7PM? I know if you're already in the MK and have tickets for MNSSHP they just have you go to one section of the park and get your wristband, right?

3) Are the lines for the attractions generally light enough during MNSSHP to make it worth the extra $$? DF and I aren't very big on Halloween, but being able to ride without lines after hours (especially since E-Ride Nights won't be available during October) is definitely a plus!

Thanks in advance!

::Bump!::

If anyone could help me out, I'd really appreciate it! I'd love to get my MNSSHP tickets in advance, but not until I'm absolutely sure it's worth it.

Thanks!

PS -- On the subject of tickets, where can you buy them in advance? I didn't see them listed on DisneyWorld.com ...

Below is the list of what was open last year. They will remain open all night as far as I know.

I believe you can enter the park any time but most people get there before the park closes or right after it opens so as not to miss a thing. Our friends arrived at 8:30p last year...

Crowds will depend on what night you go. Weekend nights will be busier and Halloween night will be the busiest. There were definitely lines for rides when we went on Halloween night last year.

I dug out a brochure from a previous party and it looks like almost everything is open. Definitely the big stuff is open, Splash, Space, Buzz, Big Thunder, Haunted Mansion (of course), pirates. Tiki Birds is not open. Even Peter Pan, Snow White, Pooh, it's a small world, Dumbo and mad tea party are open. Take the Jungle Cruise at night (once the crowds are gone), it's a whole different perspective.

You can enter anytime after 7:00 if you like. We usually end up getting there about 7:30. It's fairly crowded at first (especially I hear on the Friday night parties). The later it gets the easier it is to get on the rides. We've never found any of the lines to be unmanageable.

A group of us go every year but then we love Halloween. You can call Disney reservations, 1-407-WDisney for tickets.

"Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party" It's like an E-ticket night. It runs through October and it is a hard ticket event. They decorate MK for Halloween; there's special Halloween Parades; special fireworks, rides and trick or treating etc...

It's great fun! Tickets are already on sale!

Go early. If you are not visiting another park that day, which I would recommend, this works out great. Halloween night 2002 we got there at 5:20(?). The park closes at 6, but they let you stay with a wristband. You can ride anything up to closing time. Then the CMs have you wait in Fantasyland, rides are open, and you can see many things before the crowds arrive. We stayed until closing, the crowds really thin again as it gets latter. Dress up, read about and participate in all the special activities, have fun.

Hi,
I've found that the lines for the rides are pretty heavy during MNSSHP. There are LOTS of people there. So if you're going for shorter lines and don't care for Halloween I'd suggest you skip the party and just go on a regular E-night. Lots cheaper.

Hey Hadjii,

I'd be inclined to agree, but unfortunately there won't be any E-Ride Nights offered during our stay. (And from what I understand, traditionally E-Ride Nights are *never* offered after September). With the intro of the Fairytale Package, though, that all could change! We shall see. ;-)

Thanks for the info, everyone!

Sorry to hear that. They always change the e-night schedule so hopefully you'll get one. I have lucked out once or twice in October so maybe it will happen. The party is a blast though so maybe you'll become a MNSSHP after all. Have a great night.

We'll be arriving at WDW on the 31st and have tickets for MNSSHP. We won't be using our passes that day. Is there any way we will we be allowed into MK with our wristbands any earlier than 7pm?

Some have reported getting in as early as 4:00p with just the MNSSHP tickets. Then you'll be ushered into Tomorrowland so they can empty out the park of the non-party guests.
