Has anyone gone to this on Halloween night and are the crowds bearable? Thanks for the insight

I went 2 years ago on Halloween and it was sold out.The lines weren't long for the rides but there were a lot of people waiting for candy and pictures. Also people were all in the same areas so it was a little harder to get around. All in all still a great time though.
Last year we went a couple days before Halloween and it was much better

Halloween sells out every year well before Halloween and it is always the first night to sell out! keep that in mind. Weeknights are usually a lot less busy than weekend nights, also.

OK, being as objective as I can here. For "me" MNSSHP was THE WORST experience at Disney. They say tickets are limited..... limited to how many they can possibly sell, is my opinion. We were crammed in like sardines. I mean it was hard just to move around in lots of areas. Hope you don't have a stroller!

Even my wife, who loves WDW, hated that night. She loves parades but she though that this one was not very good.

We were there with 22 people and I don't think anybody thought that it was worth the cost, or enjoyable due to how tightly packed we were.

In full disclosure, it was over 90 degrees that night. But still, the packed like a sardine feeling would have ruined it for me, no matter what the temperature was.

We've gone Halloween night twice now; last year and in 2002. I figure if I'm going to WDW for Halloween, I might as well be at MK for it!

It is crowded but I still had a great time and would do it again. If you go in with a plan and priorities set, you will do fine. Also, the crowds all depend on where you are in the park. You can ask one person who hung out in Fantasyland and they'll say it was packed then you ask someone who hung out in Adventureland and they'll say it wasn't bad at all. YMMV.

The trick or treat lines seem long but go very fast. Get the photo done right around 7:00p when you are fresh and the lines are short OR wait till later in the night when the lines die down.

I LOVE the parade. I guess it's a matter of opinion but we loved the parade; the Headless Horseman is really neat!

Good luck deciding!
