Is this any good for a party of four adults or is it more for younger children?
We have never been and we are considering going on our late day in September.

We are adults and we love it....you're never too old at Disney ;)

I would say its fun for all ages - go for it -the parade is supposed to be fantastic.

We're a party of three adults. We went to the PPP last year together, and are going to the MNSSHP this year - all in costumes. There are no such things as 'adults' in Disney, just little kids and big kids!

Done it 3 times(+ twice Disneyland CA.) and booked again for October.
Even if we didn't have a child we would do it, I love MNSSHP and also Pirates and Princess parties, done 2 of them also. I want to goto a Mickeys Xmas party but no way can we get there when they are on, they are all done when we get there Xmas day.

Tony you got to go!! we are going for the third time this October, its great with kids or without! the parade is fantastic and also the shows that are put on around the park.
Don't forget to dress up!! :thumbsup2

We are keen to go but it's are very last day and we're not sure a late night is on the cards when we really should be packing.:rolleyes1

Pack during the day or the night before and then go to the party it will be a magical end to your trip:thumbsup2

We were all set for doing it last Oct in Disneyland on our last night and had to be up for the airport at 5am, would have got about 4 hours sleep. Luckily they added another date the evening before but we would have done it in last night without question.

Totally agree - you can sleep when you get home!

Tony put it this way DS is about to start those "awkward" years:scared1: & even he is talking about his costume! If you like MK during the day then MNSSHP is a must, just grab your Trick or treat bags & join the queues. As others have said,we normally do the majority of our packing then head to MK for our last day & make it last as long as possible!
SD:thumbsup2

We did this last year.

Worked out great. Did all our packing on the daytime. Got to the party at 5pm ish. Had a blast collecting candy, riding rides, watching the parade.
Back to the room final bits of packing...candy in cases;) We were all set to go in the morning.

you will enjoy it

A great way to finish the holidays

and don't forget adults can do the trick and treating too

We are thinking about going to this, we went to the xmas party and it was mobbed, is it the same as xmas party, you get bands and only people with bands get on the rides after a certain time? xmas party was mobbed, and I mean mobbed, busiest I have ever, ever seen disneyworld.
Is it cheaper to buy tickets here or just turn up at the gate?

People have different experiences with MNSSHP, we have always gone as early as poss and midweek, weekends are busier and nearer to the 31st gets busier. Thankfully for us we have hit it right with all rides walk on and stay on if we wanted, very few waiting to get on.
The Pirate and Princess Party at Easter was almost like having the park to ourselves, I took this pic at 10:30pm looking down Frontierland, it was deserted. Even the parade you could walk up last minute and watch it, not even 1 person deep, so many gaps.

Looks like we're going, I shall be booking the tickets over the weekend.:thumbsup2

do you think it is better to pre book?

$7+tax cheaper online but not all dates. 31st Oct sells out so if you wanted to go that date then only option is to prebook.
